KAIMANAWA HORSES
I have taken on Kaimanawa horses from the 2012 and 2014 musters. It is a hugely rewarding experience and very educational, and if you have the facilities and the ability I highly recommend it.
The musters happen every 2 years and Kaimanawa Heritage Horses are always desperate to find good homes for these horses, as every horse leaves the muster yards on a truck - either to a home, or to the abbatoir. See their website for more details on how you can help.
